About One Spicy Meatball ™

My name is Jason and I am a passionate supertaster / home chef / recipe creator with over 40 years of experience... in terms of eating food, at least. 

One Spicy Meatball is where Pop Culture, the Arts & the Humanities intersect with Food. We specialize primarily in constructing delicious, award-winning desserts which integrate my formal education in the Liberal Arts in some fashion.

I am now branching out into blogging and selling my proprietary recipes to food bloggers, restaurateurs & cookbook authors for a small fee. I have written 2 cookbooks' worth of recipes, which I plan to publish in due time. 

I am not overly concerned with nutrition, though my doctor feels that I should make that a focus. To me, food should be fun. Also, in general, I do not believe that food can be stolen or appropriated per se... but I believe that recipes can.

My trial-and-error approach to recipe creation continues to be costly, but it's also an extremely satisfying labor of love to me.
